Natalie Itinov is a young artist based in London. While studying at the University of the Arts, London, Natalie rediscovered paper as a delicate but resistant material that had a lot of creative potential, which she has explored since.
Paper is the main tool for creation and inspiration for Natalie. She envisages this medium as one of a kind with the potential to be turned into anything. “Extremely delicate, and at the same time unbelievably resistant”, is how she describes it. This idea is the driving force of her creative practice, in which she combines paper art with illustration and sculpture.
Natalie’s final year paper sculpture was chosen as one of the best 12 pieces across all UAL colleges by the Creative Blog. She has been working on her artistic practice since her recent graduation.
