Rachael Nee (b.1964 Wiltshire, UK), studied Bristol Polytechnic 1984-7
and the University of West of England, Bristol 2002-04. She won first prize
for Viewers Choice, Royal West of England Academy, Bristol (2003) having
won third prize the previous year. Initially studying ceramics Rachael
became fascinated by the creative and destructive potential of fire and
now works mainly with flames from sources such as candles. Her work is
